www.maxmag.fr pour un témoignage sur la
mode à Barbès, ses origines et ses influences,
c’est avec un grand plaisir que j’ai répondu
présent, bien placé pour avoir pu observer les
différentes tendances en vogue du moment dans
un endroit précurseur de la mode à Paris,
lors de mes précédentes fonctions de Diffuseurs
de Presse, les magazines de mode représentaient
une part non négligeable de mon chiffre d’affaire
du mensuel “AMINA” a l’hebdomadaire “ELLE”,
preuve que la mode a toujours intéréssé les
habitants et commerçants du quartier,
Barbès un carrefour du monde situé à la frontière
de trois arrondissements, le 18è, le 10ème mais
aussi le 9ème.
Coté 10ème arrondissement parisien, on a sur le
boulevard Magenta, une succession de plusieurs
boutique de Mariage, une clientèle venant parfois
de très loin pour y trouver chemise, cravate,
bouton de manchette l’accessoire, voir le
costume ou robe de marié idéal, sans avoir à
rougir de la grande couture, il y a des styles de
couture magnifique à des prix très attractifs,
certains commerçants ont développé leur
propre ligne,
Pour être précis malgré ce qu’on pourrait croire,
cela reste dans une mode Classic européenne,
loin des Habits traditionnels de la diaspora
africaine, en effet vous ne trouverez pas sur le
Boulevard Magenta de Djellaba Blanche, ou
taguiya, mais un large de choix de costume et
gamme de chemise pour combler les plus
exigeants.
S’y trouvent également des magasins de
chaussures des marques que je ne citerai pas à
des tarifs préférentielles permettant aux petites
bourses de se parer de soulier résistant à toutes
épreuves, de belle affaires en perspectives pour
tout les styles, particularité du boulevard, panier
en osier, emballages pour les dragées
décoration de mariage sont tout autant
disponibles afin de faire de vos cérémonies un
moment à votre style, inoubliable.
Wax, Caftans Streets and African’s Waves
Pour trouver les couleurs et style plus traditionnelles,
il faut remonter le boulevard Barbès côté 18ème,
s’arrêter à la rue de la Goutte d’or, ou tout
simplement continuer tout droit jusque Château
Rouge, avec “La Wax Mania” véritable tissu
traditionnel de l’Afrique, réinterprété par de jeunes
marques ou créateurs, ce regain d’intérêt pour la wax
est due notamment à de nombreuses célébrités qui
porte fièrement les jolies couleurs des tissus,
rappelant leur origine ou tout simplement signe de
diversité culturelle.
Principalement porté en Afrique subsaharienne,
l’identité du Wax nous replonge de part ses couleurs
en Afrique, même si son origine n’est pas tout a fait
africaine, par contre l’identité du Wax a pleinement
pris ses quartiers dans le continent du berceau de
l’humanité.
Le wax, également appelé « tissu africain », est
un textile de coton ayant reçu sur les deux faces un cirage lui
conférant des propriétés hydrophobes, technique inspirée de celle
utilisée pour produire le batik javanais. Les cires utilisées sont
colorées et forment des motifs qui varient à l’infini dans une
recherche esthétique.Le wax est très en vogue en Afrique
subsaharienne, où il sert à confectionner de nombreux habits, dont
les pagnes wax.
Les “Negaffas” sont les professionnelles de l’habillage
traditionnelle orientale pour les mariages, elles
proposent leurs services pour l’habillage des mariés
en fournissant les caftans.
La tradition demande qu’une marié marocaine se
doit d’arborer durant la cérémonie plusieurs tenues
représentant les différentes ethnies du Royaume
Marocain,” Chelha, Soussia ou Fessia” selon les
différentes régions.
A ce titre les negaffas sont les professionnelles de
cette habillage durant les cérémonies de mariage
suivant au fil du temps les différentes tendances ,et
modèles de Caftan proposés, on pourrait croire qu’à
Barbès nombre de negaffates sont présentes, il y en a
en effet mais pas autant qu’on pourrait le croire, ces
professionnelles de la mode orientale et des mariages
sont installées un peu partout sur Paris, avec des
créations digne des milles et une nuit,
